Lesson Plans for Music Classes!

  • Music Rhapsody's Rhythm Readers classes are full of singing, dancing, and playing instruments, just like all Music Rhapsody classes.  However, unique to the classes for this level, following an introduction to Orff Schulwerk, are colorful, dynamic visuals to introduce reading rhythm. But actually, as the students are learning to read rhythm in this game like atmophere, they are also improving reading skills for language. Timing and coordination and the sense of phrasing are also improved.  Four 2 page lessons with an additonal 6 pages of student and teacher visuals were put in Lynn Kleiner's Music Box store today. If you teach ages 4-7 year olds and they have already had a good introduction to music, these first 4 Rhythm Reader plans will present quarter notes and rests in fun, engaging lessons. Eighth notes coming soon!
