I love teaching recorder because I teach it using stories, from an Orff approach. This brings a lot of variety to the lessons! Being unpredictable and action packed is the key to classroom management and success! If you want to love teaching recorder and want your students to love your lessons, you’ve got to try these stories, dances, Orff arrangements and other miscellaneous excitement! Wendy Dunlap Hi Lynn! I was hoping you could help explain a little bit. I am used to hearing that having routine is what helps with classroom management (especially title 1 kids with no routines). so would a combination of this work or being unpredictable?
